Senior Administrative Assistant

The Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS) is Saskatchewan’s grassroots general farm organization representing farmers and ranchers throughout the province. APAS is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Senior Administrative Assistant with exceptional administrative and organizational skills.
Position Title: Senior Administrative Assistant
Reporting to: General Manager of APAS
Position Overview: The incumbent will be responsible for administrative support services for the Association as required and/or assigned by the General Manager.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supporting senior positions in a dynamic business environment.
The role will encompass providing executive secretarial and administrative support to our small group of staff and the Board of Directors. Coordination and implementation of administration/office procedures is also a feature of this position.
Job Requirements:
- Education: A certificate or university degree in administration, business, management or a related relevant discipline.
- Experience: Several years related experience in an administrative position.
- Knowledge and skills: Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and the Internet and operational knowledge of information systems required in an office environment.

Key responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to the General Manager and staff, the President, and the Board of Directors
- Responsible for coordinating and implementing office procedures as well as specific projects.
- Serves as Recording Secretary for the Annual General Meeting, Mid Term meetings, Board
- Meetings and conference calls, and staff meetings.
