GM's Report: March'09
February 9 - March 7, 2009
Key activities of the staff group:
- Communications support with the letter to Minister Bjornerud and news release.
- Participated in meetings of the Livestock, Environment and Food Safety, Grains and Oilseeds, and Governance Committees.
- Continuous improvement of our website.
- Aj Thakker coordinated the production of our newsletter and radio ads.
- The invoice packages were mailed to Reeves of member RMs during the first week of March.
- T4s were prepared and distributed to staff, RM Reps, and Board members.
- Participated in meetings with the Councils of the RMs of Moosomin, Willowdale, Wawken, and Walpole.
- Attended the final afternoon of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation AGM/Convention.
- Participated in the CFA AGM an d the meetings with Agriculture Critics and Saskatchewan MPs.
- Dealt with Human Resource allocation as required and reported to BoD on specifics at meeting.
