Rural municipalities from across the province voluntarily sign on to become members of the Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan on behalf of their ratepayers. Each member RM elects a ratepayer to serve as representative to APAS.
The APAS Representative is responsible to articulate and advance key policy issues from their local area and to regularly bring information on APAS policy positions and activities back to the agricultural producers in their rural municipality. APAS Representatives are eligible to vote at general meetings, can run for and elect Directors for their Districts and sit on APAS Policy Committees. Ratepayers elect their APAS Representatives every two years in October. Learn more about APAS Membership
